About this event
Chicago’s The Father Costume features songwriter/guitarist Sam Wagster (Mute Duo, The Cairo Gang), and bassist/vocalist Gillian Lisée (The Cairo Gang, Califone). Jangly tones and minimal beats lay the foundation for warm vocal harmonies and melan-comic lyrics, while aspects of Rock and Roll, 80’s dance, and atmospheric psychedelia shuffle and sway in service of each song.
Lazy Hex is an experimental improv/electronic project from Rock Island ft. Marc Hans Showalter and Ryan Collins.
