About this event
The Rock Island Arsenal played an important role in the American Civil War. It was one of 21 Union prisoner-of-war camps, accused as being the “Andersonville of the North.” From 1863 to 1865, the Arsenal held more than 12,00 Confederate prisoners. Join us to explore its origins, learn notable acts, and discover how the Quad Cities area contributed to the Civil War. Limited number of seats available. Call 654-2330 to sign up.
