- ➤ Greg Hipskind, owner and teacher at QC Rock Academy, passed away unexpectedly this past weekend. His friends and bandmates said his passion for music united local students and will be honored through continuing performances. KWQC
- ➤ The Davenport Public Library seeks donations for its annual Formal Wear Giveaway (over 100 participants benefited last year). Donations will help local residents access formal wear for upcoming events. The Dispatch Argus

- ➤ Davenport’s 53rd Street corridor is set to host two new projects: a 10,000-sqft retail center at 5133 Ravenwood Lane and a 30,000-sqft office/retail building at 4515 E. 52nd St. set for completion in 2026; Morgan Stanley will move into the second floor plus Bubba’s 33 restaurant is planned nearby.
