- ➤ Nine Quad Cities nonprofits received $165K in capacity building grants from the Quad Cities Community Foundation to improve internal operations like technology and leadership; letters of interest for the spring round open Sunday, March 1. Quad Cities Business Journal
- ➤ Iowa American Water awarded $75,000 in grants to 13 local organizations (including a $20,000 gift to River Bend Food Bank) as part of its Keep Communities Flowing Grant Program. The awards were announced Jan. 8 to support projects addressing water, people, and community needs. Quad Cities Business Journal
- ➤ MidAmerican Energy reported that over 2,400 Illinois customers lost power yesterday in the Quad Cities area as utility crews worked to restore service for affected residents. KWQC

- ➤ MRA's 2026 Executive Roundtable season will offer senior leaders confidential forums on leadership strategy across Midwestern states, including sessions at the Moline office (King’s Plaza) in the Quad Cities.
