The nonprofit One Eighty in west Davenport announced a leadership change as co-directors Halupnik and Fish plan to retire soon and a national search committee was formed to hire a new executive director by August, shifting the organization to a single executive director model.

The new Riverbend FAME partnership will launch a manufacturing maintenance training program at EICC’s Blong Technology Center, preparing students for in-demand careers with hands-on, paid training in fall.

The program, which is backed by local employers (Novelis, SSAB) and community partners, meets the growing need for skilled technicians.
