- ➤ John Deere will rehire nearly 100 Iowa employees as production demand grows; the move follows layoffs of over 3,800 workers (since August 2023) across Illinois and Iowa. The Dispatch Argus
- ➤ Although Amazon cut 16,000 corporate jobs, its May 2025 estimate of 2,000 employees in Davenport indicates that the layoffs did not affect the local workforce. The Dispatch Argus
