  • A large water main broke on Tremont Avenue near River Drive Sunday night as a crew observed water streaming down the street and noted that a nearby business appeared to be unloading a pump, and Iowa American Water has been contacted for details.  KWQC

HEALTH NEWS

  • Six Quad Citians join 11 Iowa women leaders in the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign to raise funds for heart disease prevention; the campaign, begun on Feb. 6 (National Wear Red Day) and running nine weeks until April 9, will boost efforts to improve women's heart health.  Quad Cities Business Journal

SPORTS NEWS

  • Sydney Park, a former QCA wrestler, officiated matches at the D3 National Invite at Augustana College this weekend after an injury ended her competitive career. Growing up in a wrestling family, she said she quickly embraced her new role + brought renewed passion for the sport.  KWQC
  • Davenport native Caleb Heskett, a University of Dubuque student, is monitoring the Vince Lombardi Trophy and handling crowd control in Los Angeles for his third Super Bowl fan experience. He has worked in Las Vegas and New Orleans, showing local talent can impact sports & safety.  KWQC
  • KWQC-TV6 is hosting a pregame livestream at 4:30 p.m. today ahead of Super Bowl LX, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. on KWQC 6.1. The broadcast will feature breaking news, local updates, weather and sports.  KWQC
