- ➤ Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream launched a Charity of the Month program that highlights a local nonprofit each month to support families, following last month’s feature of Family Resources in Davenport. - ➤ Muffin (a two-month-old pet) is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, and is available for adoption through the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan. Volunteers and donations support the shelter, which helped over 1,500 animals find homes last year. KWQC

- ➤ Scott County Road F-55 in Davenport will be closed in both directions starting March 2 for bridge work on the northbound U.S. 61 off-ramp; drivers must use a detour via F-51+Blackhawk Trail until mid-summer when reconstruction is complete. KWQC
