- ➤ Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream launched a Charity of the Month program that highlights a local nonprofit each month to support families, following last month’s feature of Family Resources in Davenport. - ➤ CASI will host its 2026 Blarney Bash tomorrow, Feb. 26 at Front Street Brewery Taproom at 429 W. River Drive; the event kicks off St. Patrick’s Day Race festivities with the untapping of the 2026 Bad Betty Blonde beer + a performance by Mayer School of Irish Dance. Quad Cities Business Journal
- ➤ Muffin (a two-month-old pet) is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines, and is available for adoption through the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan. Volunteers and donations support the shelter, which helped over 1,500 animals find homes last year. KWQC

- ➤ Students at Davenport West High School explored healthcare careers during a UI Health STEM event today that focused on maternal, fetal + neonatal medicine research. University of Iowa’s College of Medicine later hosted a mini med school session at St. Ambrose to offer additional insights. KWQC

- ➤ Scott County Road F-55 in Davenport will be closed in both directions starting March 2 for bridge work on the northbound U.S. 61 off-ramp; drivers must use a detour via F-51+Blackhawk Trail until mid-summer when reconstruction is complete. KWQC
