- ➤ Crews closed a section of Bridge Avenue near Locust Street as they repaired a damaged power pole from a vehicle crash Friday afternoon (affecting five customers). KWQC
- ➤ The right lane on I-80 eastbound was blocked due to a vehicle fire that erupted between Northwest Boulevard and US 61 Exits on Feb. 27; firefighters worked to put out the blaze (IDOT reported) (updates pending). KWQC
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Arconic broke ground on a $175 million expansion project in Riverdale, which will add 40 jobs and boost local employment. Riverdale Mayor Anthony Heddlesten said the project represents investment in equipment + people. The Quad City Times

- ➤ The 12th Gathering of the Green, celebrating John Deere tractors and collectors, will be held March 18-21 at RiverCenter in downtown Davenport (full registration is required for tour access).
