  • The 32nd Annual Quad City Regional Auto Show is underway this weekend at Bend XPO in East Moline. Visitors can compare vehicles from 23 manufacturers and local dealerships and enjoy family activities such as face painting, a NASCAR racing simulator & a petting zoo.  KWQC

  • After a nine-month hiatus, Boozies reopens at the Freight House building today in Davenport using its same beloved menu to welcome loyal customers.  The Dispatch Argus

  • On Thursday, Mar. 5, students led by CJ Parker sang a rendition of We Shall Not Be Moved (a local favorite) during Quad City Symphony Orchestra's Symphony Day at the Adler Theatre in Davenport. The performance showcased a vibrant celebration of local arts.  The Quad City Times

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Hunter Morrow, a graduating student at Davenport North High, received a $20,000 scholarship from the district — recognizing his academic achievements.  The Dispatch Argus

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On Monday, weather permitting, the eastbound I-80 ramp at Middle Road in Bettendorf will close for work on a new bridge + drivers must follow a marked detour route, with the updated ramp set to open mid to late April.  KWQC

HEALTH NEWS

  • A car was left running in a home's garage, hospitalizing three people including a Moline police officer and firefighter, as state figures show nearly 9,800 carbon monoxide-related calls in 2024 (reminding residents to check their detectors).  KWQC

  • Paul VanDuyne and Charlie Armstrong were inducted into the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame for their long careers in development and construction.
