- ➤ Police charged 26-year-old Corionte Williams (who stole a silver Dodge Avenger in Rock Island and locked three people in the backseat) after a vehicle pursuit across Centennial Bridge on Saturday night ended when he ran on foot near Metro PCS and Tobacco Shop; he is held on a $15,000 bond (with charges of theft, eluding, and false imprisonment) with a preliminary hearing set for April 8 at the Scott County Courthouse.
