- ➤ Davenport police and Every Child will plant a pinwheel garden for child abuse prevention on Thursday, Apr. 2 at 10 a.m. at the Davenport Police Department on North Harrison Street + the pinwheel display will remain through April. KWQC
- ➤ Friends of Trinity will host its annual Blossoms & Brunch fundraiser on Saturday, May 2 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Rhythm City Casino to support community programs including Trinity Cancer Center; individual tickets cost $40, a table of eight is $300, and RSVP is due by April 17. - ➤ Oakmont Education announced that Great Oaks High School & Career Center Davenport Campus will open this fall at the former Big Lots store on North Brady Street.
