- ➤ Bryan Renfro was approved as the new chancellor of Eastern Iowa Community Colleges during a special board meeting on April 1. - ➤ The Quad Cities International Airport celebrated completion of Phase 1 of Project Gateway on Monday, March 31 when it held a ribbon cutting for a 14,600-square-foot baggage handling area with a modern conveyor belt system and updated ticket counters — part of an $18 million renovation. - ➤ Over 100 St. Ambrose students and supporters will dance for 13.1 hours at the Rogalski Center Ballroom at St. Ambrose University on April 5 to raise funds for a NICU expansion at the local children’s hospital.
