- ➤ The Women Fighting Hunger event raised $166,000 for River Bend Food Bank, adding to $566,000 raised since 2019. The fundraiser supports local food relief efforts for community residents. The Dispatch Argus
- ➤ A pinwheel garden was planted in Rock Island outside the Police Department Friday morning to mark Child Abuse Prevention Month with blue pinwheels symbolizing healthy childhoods; similar displays are on show in Davenport and Bettendorf + Moline will hold its event Monday. KWQC
