- ➤ United Way Quad Cities’ free tax assistance program helped 3,589 families get over $4.66M in tax refunds at eight local sites, offering support to pay bills and build financial stability. The service, powered by IRS-certified volunteers, has returned over $26.4M since 2020. KWQC

- ➤ Iowa 80 Trucking Museum broke ground on a 25,000 sqft expansion of its exhibit hall (set to display historic trucks and memorabilia) that will increase its total space to 121,000 sqft, with construction expected to finish this fall. The museum remains open during normal hours. KWQC
