- ➤ Davenport activated its flood plan after heavy rain raised the Mississippi River close to minor flood stage. City staff set pumps in low areas and closed South Concord Street between River Drive and Utah due to water over the road + forecasts show the river may reach 14.8 feet on Apr. 22. KWQC

- ➤ Researchers found that people with type A blood have a higher risk for stroke from blood clots compared to those with type O blood. Dr. Bill Langley explained the study and urged residents to know their blood type for better health management. KWQC
