Nearly 50 students, parents, and staff rode a two-mile bike bus on May 16 from Coffee Apothecary to Paul Norton Elementary School in Bettendorf as part of an initiative started by Lindsey DeMuynck and her son Vince.

The group plans to add more ride days and extend its route in the coming weeks—helping more families start their school day actively.
