- ➤ Ryan Sempf (chief impact officer at United Way Quad Cities) was named to a 24-member United Way Worldwide Impact Council, where he will share local success strategies on a global stage. Local leader Rene Gellerman said his selection showcases the growing community impact in Davenport. KWQC
- ➤ The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will open its new location in Davenport on Friday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. The community is invited to join the milestone celebration. The Dispatch Argus
- ➤ Downtown Davenport Partnership will host a Lemonade Sip N’ Shop event on May 30 where nearly 20 businesses offer lemonade tastings, deals and curbside concerts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown. KWQC

- ➤ Yesterday, Mitsubishi HC Capital America and Moline-based Vibrant Credit Union formed a business relationship to offer non-commercial retail financing for customers buying compact agriculture and construction equipment.
