Hundreds attended the annual Quad Cities Pride Festival at Schwiebert Riverfront Park this weekend, with live music, drag performances and food vendors uniting community members.

The event highlighted local inclusion and diversity with support from over 100 local businesses.

Bettendorf’s annual Be Downtown event was held Saturday at 15th Street Landing and featured a daytime festival with live music from local bands, professional wrestling, food vendors, tournaments, and activities for kids.

The event rolled into the evening with more live music at downtown spots & free parking available at several locations.

Starting Monday, eastbound Rockingham Road will close for resurfacing between the Highway 61 interchange and Fairmount Street as part of road improvements; drivers should follow the signed detour using River Drive to South Concord Street (expected to finish phase one by late July or early August).

The Quad City Steamwheelers won 43-37 over first-place Green Bay Blizzard on Saturday, June 6, boosting their record to 4-7.

This win marked a return to the win column after a challenging season.
