  • Illinois State Police arrested four people — Ryan J. Molln of Walnut, Juan C. Soto-Deanda of East Moline, Marqueis L. Lewis Sr. of Davenport, and Adrian Amezola of Sterling — during a two-day human trafficking operation in Geneseo that targeted those seeking commercial sex acts.  KWQC

  • The new Sacred Places exhibit at the Putnam Museum and Science Center in Davenport lets visitors learn about sacred sites worldwide by viewing artifacts like stained glass and statues—this traveling exhibit is displayed at 1717 W. 12th St. until Sept. 1.  OurQuadCities

  • United Way site coordinators at Madison Elementary and Wells Elementary support Title I students under the United for Schools initiative—greeting them at arrival, meeting their needs during the day, and offering help with food, clothing, and social skills.
