KWQC+ will stream the Red, White and Boom fireworks show over the Mississippi River on July 3 at 9:30 p.m. for viewers who cannot attend in person, with the event available on its streaming platforms including the news app and website.

Golden Corral Buffet and Grill will close its Davenport restaurant next week; the last day open is Monday, July 6, at 5202 Elmore Avenue.

The popular buffet chain will serve all-you-can-eat American fare + salad and dessert bars until closing.

In May (when the SAFECON event was held), Quad Cities International Airport saw a 6% rise to 65,467 passengers as airlines added seats and extra daily flights, and the airport is now advancing Phase II of its $19 million terminal upgrade.
