United Township and Bettendorf school boards will meet this week to review budgets and operation costs (key agenda topics) as they plan future financial steps in education.

Crews are starting to patch a section of Elmore Avenue today between Kimberly Road and 39th Street with one lane open in each direction, affecting a few turn lanes.

Officials said the work will finish by fall.
