- ➤ QCR Holdings said it made $29 million and earned $1.71 a share in the quarter ending June 30, with CEO Todd Gipple noting strong loan growth and higher net interest income in its report on July 23. The firm also showed higher noninterest income and began building a new 100,000-square-foot headquarters in northeast Bettendorf — set to finish by late 2026 — as it plans for further loan growth. - ➤ The NCAA awarded the Division III Wrestling Championships to the Quad Cities for the 2027—28 season, as Visit Quad Cities in partnership with Augustana College made the announcement on July 22. The matches will be held at the Vibrant Arena at The Mark in downtown Moline from March 10th to 11th, 2028 and are expected to generate nearly $1 million in direct economic impact.
