- ➤ One Eighty has added two new housing options at 915 Fillmore Street and 625 Taylor Street to help residents facing poverty, crisis, and addiction. The program, now providing support to over 60 people in 11 buildings, will host an open house on August 28 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. — a chance for locals to learn more about its stability housing support. - ➤ Residents of Woodland Apartments in Davenport have been locked out 40 days after a flash flood on July 11 — many now sleep in cars or stay with friends while owners still charge rent for unlivable units. KWQC
- ➤ Empowering Abilities Booster Organization in Davenport is hosting its first-ever mum sale to raise funds for inclusive social events for adults with disabilities. Locally grown mums cost $15 each, and orders are accepted until noon Friday, Sept. 5; pickup is available (2-4 p.m.) Sunday, Sept. 14 at their facility on N. Brady St. Quad Cities Business Journal

- ➤ QC Airport saw a 6% jump in passengers in July, reaching 63,319 travelers — its busiest month since October 2019.
