- ➤ Family Museum in Bettendorf is launching a new interactive exhibit called 'On the Road' that takes kids on a cross-country adventure with hands-on learning about U.S. geography, ecology, history, and culture—designed by KidZibits Inc. The nearly $1 million project, funded by public and private donations, opens Saturday, Aug. 23 and is included with admission. KWQC
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Five Quad-Cities teachers joined a state-led six-week STEM externship this past summer, working with groups like the Army Corps and Sears Seating to learn real-world skills. They received up to $5,000 and three UNI graduate credits — experiences they planned to share with local students to boost career awareness — as part of the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council program.
