- ➤ The Davenport City Council voted unanimously on Wednesday to restore public comment time to (5 minutes) per speaker and set rules that include a (30 seconds) limit for council members' final remarks and streaming all meetings. Officials said the changes aim to improve transparency and manage debates during sessions. The Quad City Times
- ➤ The Davenport City Council voted Wednesday night to bring back a five-minute limit for public comments and set a 30-second cap on council member replies—new rules will also require meetings to be streamed, recorded, and available online.
