Augustana College held a move-in day on Aug.
28 for its Class of 2030; staff and student volunteers helped over 300 new students move their belongings to dorms + ensuring a smooth start.
Augustana College in Rock Island welcomed over 750 new students from 28 states and 36 countries on move-in day.
Faculty and student athletes helped ease the transition for freshmen such as Izzie Wright, a first-year education major from San Diego.

Davenport Northwest Little League players and coaches were celebrated at Northwest Park after their historic run at the Little League World Series— the team became the first from the Midwest to start 2-0 and finished one game short of the U.S. championship as families cheered them on.
