- ➤ Holden Conner, a 24-year-old Davenport North grad, will open Trial Run QC, a buy/sell/trade store for high-end sneakers and vintage clothing outside the food court at NorthPark Mall on Oct.4 to serve local buyers. Lee and Todd Pirck attended a NAACP forum hosted by Davenport Metrocom NAACP where they discussed plans for economic growth, affordable housing and improved city services. They detailed ideas on infrastructure, public safety and business development ahead of the October primary election—voters will soon narrow the field to two candidates. The Quad City Times
