- ➤ Davenport voters are taking part in a primary election to select a mayor and aldermen — from wards 3, 5, and 7 — as candidates share their ideas. Votes will be counted soon and results announced when available. The Dispatch Argus
- ➤ Primary elections for city council seats and a mayoral race are taking place today in Burlington and Davenport; voters must register online, by mail, or at the polls and show valid ID and proof of residence—17-year-olds can register now but must wait to vote until they turn 18 by November. KWQC
- ➤ The Iowa Supreme Court is hearing oral arguments today at 1:30 p.m. in a lawsuit that asks if Davenport is liable for an apartment building collapse on May 28 that killed three people and left one survivor maimed and trapped in rubble.
