- ➤ Over 80 veterans and their volunteer guardians from the Quad Cities flew to Washington DC on Tuesday—touring monuments built in their honor and watching the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier before returning home around 10 p.m. KWQC
- ➤ Evin Ersan, a martial arts student, began a 100-day push-up challenge to honor his mentor John Morrow who died of cancer on October 15—he hopes the challenge inspires others to remember Morrow's lessons in discipline and strength. KWQC
- ➤ More than 4,600 customers lost power around 1:40 a.m. today in the Iowa Quad Cities—MidAmerican crews are working to restore service while a restoration time has not been provided. KWQC

- ➤ Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will host a Manufacturing Career Fair from 4–6 p.m. today at the Blong Technology Center on Hillandale Road in Davenport.
