GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lawmakers passed a defense bill on Wednesday that protects Rock Island Arsenal jobs by delaying proposed cuts until a clear plan is provided (including funding for childcare upgrades and equipment design). The bill now heads to the Senate for further review. KWQC
