The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Cellular Tracking Technologies will tag 20 to 30 bumblebees next summer in the Quad Cities to track their movements and learn more about local pollinators.
The new radio technology, adapted from monarch butterfly research, will help protect these important species.
