- ➤ The Quad Cities Botanical Center will host Pay What You Want Nights at its Winter Lights display on Jan. 2-3. Guests can visit from 5 to 8 p.m. with last entry at 7:30 p.m. to view over 315,000 glowing lights across five acres of garden grounds. KWQC
- ➤ Sam Wiley from the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control Shelter in Moline introduced Grace, a vocal and playful 4-month-old shorthair as Tuesday's adoptable pet. Adoption fees remain discounted and the shelter needs volunteers to help care for animals during the holiday season. KWQC
