- ➤ The QC Empowerment Network hosted its 11th annual Black Business Expo on Saturday at NorthPark Mall with nearly 70 Black-owned vendors, breaking its record for attendance. Organizers said the event honored Black history + supported local businesses. KWQC
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday, 130 teams representing more than 40 local companies, organizations (and families) gathered at Big River Bowling and TBK in Bettendorf to raise funds for Junior Achievement of the Heartland. Lysa Hegland, CEO, said the event supports in-classroom and career learning programs for students. KWQC
