On Tuesday afternoon, 60 soldiers from Delta Company held an emotional send-off at Davenport Armory as family members and community supporters hugged them before they boarded buses for deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

Davenport Police escorted the buses at 6:30 p.m.—a step that preceded a 21-day training in Louisiana to gear up the troops for the mission.
